Ah!!! A broken rib sounds awful. May it heal quickly. Getting your book manuscript back from your editor-total high! Yay, you! I am excited to deep dive into the links you provided. That is so cool about Elgin's Marbles. I will always remember my Humanities teacher (1976) when I lived in Germany, telling us the tale of Elgin's Marbles. I got to visit Greece shortly after I took his class and during that lecture, he asked us our thoughts on people taking the treasures from one country and putting them in their own museums. Thank you for all the research, Valorie!

I don't remember ever having teachers who asked us to consider this side of museum and colonial history. It's great that your Humanities teacher encouraged you all to think critically about this issue!
