Ah!!! A broken rib sounds awful. May it heal quickly. Getting your book manuscript back from your editor-total high! Yay, you! I am excited to deep dive into the links you provided. That is so cool about Elgin's Marbles. I will always remember my Humanities teacher (1976) when I lived in Germany, telling us the tale of Elgin's Marbles. I got to visit Greece shortly after I took his class and during that lecture, he asked us our thoughts on people taking the treasures from one country and putting them in their own museums. Thank you for all the research, Valorie!
I don't remember ever having teachers who asked us to consider this side of museum and colonial history. It's great that your Humanities teacher encouraged you all to think critically about this issue!

Thank you Mary! I hope it heals up quickly.

No fun a broken rib. Love these links. The sing sing article in Smithsonian is excellent!
Thanks Neal! I was fascinated by that article. There's so much happening in it.
I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your rib. And I wish you the best for your recovery.
Also, congratulations on getting your book manuscript back from your publisher. :).
Thank you! I’m hoping the recovery process is speedy.
My God, this is fantastic, how did it take me so long to find this newsletter?
🤗 thanks for being here, Jared!
