Hi everyone, I wanted to get y’all caught up on my recent disappearance. My father’s health took a turn for the worse in late November and he passed away suddenly in early December. Since then I’ve been caught in a maelstrom of funeral planning and grieving and traveling to be with family. So that’s why I’ve disappeared suddenly around here.
My sincerest condolences, Valorie. Losing a parent is one of the most harrowing and painful experiences to process... and during the holidays, no less. Please, take all the time you need to mourn. Sending good thoughts your way.
I hope the last thing on your mind is all of us readers, because we're here to give you all the time you need - and then maybe insist you take a little bit more.
